I’m incredibly proud to share some exciting news for The Little Village of Imagination.
ICAP has awarded The Little Village of Imagination Three Gold Kites, the highest quality assurance rating, from the Institute of Children’s Activity Providers (ICAP).

What does this mean?
The Three Gold Kites award recognises children’s activity providers who demonstrate exceptional standards across all areas of their work, including:
- Safeguarding and child wellbeing
- Quality, child-led and developmentally appropriate play
- Inclusivity and accessibility
- Clear policies and professional practice
- High-quality experiences for children and families
This assessment process looks closely at how activities are planned and delivered, how children are supported, and how families, schools and settings can feel confident in the service they are choosing.
Why this matters for families and settings
This means families and settings can feel confident choosing our sessions. Every session, party or school visit is delivered with care, professionalism and children’s best interests at heart.
We work closely with schools and nurseries to deliver safe, inclusive and high-quality role play sessions that support children’s development through play.
At The Little Village of Imagination, our role play sessions are designed to be:
• Child-led and inclusive
• Fun, imaginative and engaging
• Safe, welcoming and accessible
• Supportive of children’s confidence, communication and social development
Being recognised with the highest ICAP rating reflects the values at the heart of everything we do.

A big thank you
Thank you to all the families, schools and settings who continue to support and trust The Little Village of Imagination. This achievement wouldn’t be possible without you.
I’m excited to continue creating magical, imaginative play experiences that children love — and that adults can feel confident choosing.

What is ICAP?
The Institute of Children’s Activity Providers (ICAP) is a professional body that supports and accredits children’s activity providers across the UK.
ICAP’s Quality Assurance scheme assesses providers against high standards of:
- Safeguarding and child wellbeing
- Quality and professionalism
- Inclusivity and accessibility
- Clear policies and good practice
Being awarded Three Gold Kites means a provider has met ICAP’s highest standards across all areas of their work.
